The TSB Bank New Zealand Surf Festival guarantees an unforgettable audience and participant experience, with six competition days of the finest women's surf talent from New Zealand and around the globe, preceded with Masters, MicroGrom and Aerial surf events as a taster. The festival also includes great off the water community events such as a surf photo exhibition, surf film screenings, dune restoration planting and a free of charge Beach Bash with a sandcastle competition, big dig, bouncy castle, entertainment, food and craft stalls all combining to make a great family fun day. And don't forget to attend the Hurricanes game on Friday 6 April.

In a solid 3 metre swell and steady offshore winds today, New Plymouth surfer Kane Rowson won the inaugural Bog Works Big Wave Invitational.
